Crossing Barriers Building Friendships
Crossing barriers of citizenship, age, gender, race, economic status,
sexual orientation, language, abilities or disabilities, relationship status,
political affiliation, churched or not, in a good place or in a world of hurt.
We cross barriers because Jesus crossed barriers:
We build friendships discovering our resilience and strengths to have a positive impact on humanity.

God's Story, Our Story
We believe the bible is one continuing story of God's faithfulness despite humanity's faithlessness. Loosely following the public school calendar, each year in September we start at the beginning of the Bible, learning the major stories in the epic journey of God dealing with the complexities of human life. These biblical stories show the breadth and variety of voices within scripture just as in our world today. The treasure in this journey is discovering that these stories still connect to our stories in real ways bringing purpose, encouragement and challenge to our lives here and now. This process brings joy to studying an ancient, complex collection of books known as the Bible and even greater joy as God's story connects to our every day story. We frequently hear comments like, "I never knew that before!" "This is the first time I've actually studied the bible" "I never thought about like that before!"
