Families today are faced with a full to overflowing schedule which leaves us frazzled. All the while yearning to be connected with something more that makes a positive impact. At Peace Lutheran Church, we get that! It is not easy to get everyone to church on Sunday morning, so we do all we can to maximize your time without adding more stress.
At Peace Lutheran Church we encourage families to worship together. Our worship is interactive and intergenerational. Gone is the expectation of "sit still and be quiet." In our sanctuary is a quiet play area for the little ones. We believe and practice that faith is passed on from generation to generation (back and forth) through meaningful relationships, and through finding our place in God's story by exploring that story as community. Our cross+generational worship is: experiential, interactive, engaging, story-centric; all of which promote an encounter with God. Families spend time together connecting with God’s story. More importantly, we realize that God’s family is so much more than our biological family, or people who are similar to us, as we learn together how God’s stories in the Bible intersect with our own. The younger set reminds us life is full of wonder. Those who have been around for a while share with us their wisdom. This interactive, cross-generational worship connects us with God. At Peace Lutheran Church there are a variety of ways to connect with others to serve the less fortunate, to work for justice and to strive for peace. |
