Peace Lutheran Church is a home for all God's children,
wherever they are from,
whatever their age,
the contents of their wallet,
how they speak, and
whatever their abilities or disabilities.
We welcome all because Jesus welcomes all:
Individuals and families of any race or culture,
sexual orientation, or
relationship status.
All are one race - human - created in God's image.
Hidden in plain sight as the church that looks like a home and sits off the road, we are a home for all people. Despite your past or current experiences, we are a home providing safe space to find welcome acceptance, meaning, healing, community, and sacred simplicity, God is working humble miracles every day in our lives that only angels usually applaud. A home that may never seem glamorous or sexy, hot or relevant, but which fills us with peace and holiness that cannot be purchased or measured.
If you are searching for a place to call home, we welcome you here. We welcome you to worship with us on Sunday mornings at 9:30 am or on Wednesdays at 1:00 pm. We welcome you to have a family meal around the Lord’s Table, grow in faith and journey together through this experience we call life. We give thanks for your interest in us and look forward to greeting you in person at Peace Lutheran Church.
The Bible is full of stories of the most insignificant people with the smallest amount of resources accomplishing amazing feats for the good of the most people. Without glamour nor fanfare we provide a home for you to vibrantly live out your faith. At Peace Lutheran Church we believe, Christ’s work, though unmeasurable by numbers, is immeasurable in importance. Our worship won’t be entertaining but it will be engaging for your entire family. Peace Lutheran is a home that is life-giving, life-sustaining and live-transforming. Our humble efforts to do God’s work with our hands will never make the TV nor our local newspaper. The limelight holds no attraction. We engage in behind-the-scenes, yet faithful service to each other, our community and around the world.
We are a home that gives permission, encouragement and community to reshape of the love of our hearts and mend broken lives. Peace Lutheran Church is a rich tapestry of faith, community, and service. We are a congregation that is intentional about radical hospitality, inclusive grace, and expansive love. We are a congregation that is concerned and also actively involved with the social work for justice in our community.
We are a congregation of the Southeastern Synod of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America (ELCA) and as such we seek to be a place that all people are welcomed, regardless of their race, backgrounds, economics, sexual orientation, or any other barrier that may inhibit someone from experiencing God’s grace. We invite you to check out their website to learn more about Lutheran identity, faith and practice and why we worship the way we do.
Again, we thank you for your presence with us and we welcome you home!
